Hi all!
On my 4th battle of a LC of 30 USvsGerm. in Tunisia i was sent to a delay action "special battle".
As i only lost one stuart and 2 60mmHT's and 2men out of scout unit in the previous battle being i could not decline (as I would have this early in the camp.)i had no choice.
The core;
HQ
4x scoutw/mgHT 1 reduced to 2
2x ranger snipers
1x infantry Co. which consists of;
3x platoons of ranger inf. mixed squads w/ mgHT and 81mm mortars
1x platoon of M5A1one destroyed
1x platoon of M4A2
1x reinforced M10 platoon one reassigned from infy.
1x para platoon

Additional support;
1xM10 platoon with scout cars
1 p-38 airstrike
1 b-25 bomberstrike

So here's the situation in mid 4 turns thus far,
233 AC's coming in from the so. 2 killed by support M10 with good field of fire also scouts have spotted at least 2 PzIIIj's in the so. one KO'd .
In the center my forward rangers/snipers have spotted probably the main armour coming in the middle.. so far M10's and Shermans overwatching, took out a couple of AC's and maybe 2 PzIIIj's and a flame armour pz3 also,
Got a near miss from an 88 on a Sherman then saw a Tiger manuevering lost sight of it thereafter.
Have to think on this some as i have a feeling the Germans mean business!
There is at least one tiger out there!

5th turn
Things are moving pretty fast now,My core Shermans and M10's in the center ko'd 2pz3j's 1 pz2f and a HT and "hopefully" all riders we shall see soon.
One HT dumped its inft. 2 hexs in front of my forward ranger and scouts They sent them running but the HT is still there may get that next turn, i sent their transports to the rear in better cover so no quick retreat will be possible they have moved to better cover one hex back.
On the so. the support M10's are having a field day killing 2 more pz3j's and one more 233 lots of burning wreckage there and even though 2 more tanks spotted the south is holding its own.
On the no. side ranger platoon on hill has spotted 1 Tiger at least and 8 other tanks 1 STuHf they might be trying to outflank me there too soon to tell.

My apologizes for the attachment and bad resolution,my skills in this area is weak at best;)

How did you kill the Tigers?

A good question and the answer is,
I didn't actually brew them up.
I plinked the dayights out them until i guess the crew got a serious headache and bailed :sick:
It helped they came in one at a time in my kill net:D

What size is your map? good AAR:up:[/QUOTE]

100x100 a little large for a delay with my forces (i forgot to change it if even could)
The ground looked good for defence,even though lost some armour at least 50% core crews survived.
Thanks for reading!
I suck at AAR's need a litle more flair:D

I wouldn't go that far. I will agree that flair makes for a more entertaining read, but that a blow by blow or general overview can be just as interesting. Keep it up. I want to hear what you're trying and what is working.
