Different units have different visions.

My question is what do they represent in terms of technology.

I checked the manual and previous posts but couldn't find an answer that satisfied me.

What technology does vision 5 represent?

What technology does vision 10 represent?

What technology does vision 15 represent?

What technology does vision 20 represent?

What technology does vision 25 represent?

What technology does vision 30 represent?

What technology does vision 35 represent?

I know what vision 40 means after reading the manual and reading previous posts! :)

But what technology does greater than 40 vision represent?

What technology does vision 50 represent?

What technology does vision 60 represent?

If any, what technology does greater than 60 vision represent?

Sincerely,

Andrew Nault

I was looking for something more in-depth than Mobhack help but thank-you for bringing that to my attention, I must have overlooked that aspect.

Generally from practical info... Starlight scopec can have anything from 5 to 30 (250 to 1500 meters), depending on quality of the optics and size. The "5-10" shall be for "individual" units, 10-20 for crew-served weapon mouts, up to 30 for tank "Image intensifiers".
Soviet active IR (Luna) had range, according to our army's manuals, of about 800-900 meters, ie roughly up to 20 hexes, more likely around 15.
