There is no CBM1.44. The latest is CBM1.41, but you shouldn't use that cos it has a crazy bug with LA Agartha. The best choice is probably CBM1.4.

There is indeedy a CBM 1.44. I'm playing in a game already using it.

However I should mention I'm going to whump butt using it with Caelum.

This is becasue in SP practice games every few turns I recieve the message "Caelum has experienced an unexpected gain in wealth, this could be caused by cheating"

And yes I am getting very unexpectently rich.

Nah, cCBM1.44 is chrispedersen's very confusingly named version, it's not one of QM's. It might be worth using if the changes are restricted to bug fixes, I don't know.

latest CBM is 1.41, but it has that Agarthan bug, so it shouldn't be used for an LA game that has Agartha in it; in which case, the latest would be 1.4.

Arrgh, sorry about that, I was thinking that QM's latest was 1.44 my bad. We can go ahead and just use 1.4. FYI though, I think there's some issue with Bogarus' cavalry resources in it. Thank god chris is changing the name...

We're now at my minimum threshold of players to start. I will wait one more day for recruits, maybe two depending on how my weekend is, then I will make the game on llamaserver. I will take whatever suggestions people want to make as far as map choice goes, but if there aren't any I think I will go with Parganos.

I believe that TBD means "To Be Decided" not the name of an actual map.

Fakey is right, TBD is To Be Decided. Also, CBM 1.4 incorporates WH, so don't worry about having that. I'm setting up the game soon on llamaser with the map Parganos, start making your pretenders :)

Edit: I know that its a bit tight, and am willing to change if people think it necessary.

Llama released a tweaked version of CBM 1.41 that eliminates the LA Agartha bug if you'd like to switch over to it before we start

I don't think so, as I believe that the changes were concerned with units and a few spells as opposed to pretenders. However, you can resubmit if you like, and say "I told you so" if it turns out I'm wrong :D

well with easter coming up i need to let you all know that I am taking my self and the family away for a week. (much needed mini holiday...)

I've had nothing but bad luck and probably the worst start I've ever had in any Dominions game so I'm setting myself to AI. Sorry to back out like this but it's no fun getting repeatedly trounced by unfortunate events.

It appears that coobe is haveing computer issues, and OoohSnap is unable to keep up with the schedule, so I am going to delay the hosting and look for a sub for coobe. I think I will also extend the hosting interval to 48 hrs from here on. If there are any lurkers looking to play now is the time to speak up.

You may want to force hosting since we're just waiting on R'lyeh, and they were killed off this turn. No one ever remembers to send in that final turn file. It's strange that the game even expects one.

Nah, it was straight up dominion assassination, I had several stealth preachers on his capital after I noticed he was in an unfortunate position of being positioned as a thin sliver just off the coast of two very strong dominion pushes. Beats the heck out of actually fighting those squids with a home field advantage! :)

Definitely!:) On a more general game subject, boy do I LOVE spys! I don't even want to think about how little income aby is getting atm, not to mention the 227 unrest in their capital.

Yeah, their poor income is about the same as Bandar's, and that's pretty stark when you compare their province count. Aby's particularly vulnerable to them without solid research- not gonna catch many spies patrolling in plate mail. :)

After watching the critical battle for my capital I'm pleased to see I won. Heavy casualties, but Ulm definitely got the worse end of it, let me check the summary to see how many....oh. I lost and Ulm didn't even really take too many casualties. No, can't see how, damn battle replay bug.

This is the worst, this has totally destroyed my interest in this game. It's probably over regardless as there's just a whole lot of tedious mop up at this point. I'll keep playing if there's an interest, but I'll concede to Ulm.

Hmm, sorry to hear that. It seemed to show correctly on my end. Did you ever re-download CBM 1.41? There was an update to it at some point that caused the replay bug in a few of my games before I got the new version.

I'll go with whatever the rest of you decide about ending it. My turns take a long time, but the game only got interesting recently so I'm happy to continue playing.
