Calling for arty...

Somewhat related to my other post.

I have my "A0" unit (unit commander) riding around in a "command halftrack" to get around the battlefield.

I have noticed that I cannot call for arty while mounted up. Am I missing something or cannot the "A0" call for arty while mounted?

If the vehical your AO is riding around in can't call in arty.(no radio) than you'll have to dismount him to call it in.

That has been my experiance anyway.;)

Hmmm...makes sense though I guess I would have presumed a German halftrack has a radio but I may be wrong on this. Guess I will check.

Of course. A passenger unit cannot call fires, be selected, fire its weapons etc.
