Dark skies will reduce Morale of the enemy in your Dominion by 1 for each point of Dominion that you have in the Province.
I have a couple of questions about that.

1. IF you have a Dom 9 to start and 5 candles in your Province does it reduce the Morale by 14 (D9 + 5 Candles), 9 (your starting Dom), or 5 (Friendly Candles)?

Also, IF I would own a province that I have just conquered and it has 2 enemy Domain Candles do I get any Morale reduction of the enemy if he would attack?

I am reading "In your Domionion" as white candles but am not sure.

Any thoughts on this question would help:confused:

1. 5, I believe.

2. In that situation, I think the enemy gets a morale bonus for being in their own dominion. Your side would get the penalty.

b. Only the standard dominion penalty for fighting in a hostile dominion.

Dark Skies only affects in *your* dominion.

Thanks, thats what I thought.

Now if you are in YOUR dom Is Greg right and I would only get 5?

There was another post (See Dark skies) below about 10 posts that they thought I would get 11...

I just couldn't figure how they got 11.

The -11 morale will happen in a province with a full 10 dominion (for the player with dark skies up), which will give -10 morale (from the 10 white candles), and then on top of that the further standard -1 morale you get from being in hostile dominion. Making a grand total of -11 morale.

It's like this:

If any army is in dominion that isn't theirs, it gets -1 morale.

If an enemy army is in your dominion when you have Dark Skies up, the army gets -1 morale for every candle of your dominion in that province.

Both penalties can be applied at the same time, so for the example in the other thread (an enemy in 10 candles of your dominion, with Dark Skies) the army gets -10 for Dark Skies and -1 for being in a dominion that isn't theirs, for a total of -11.

I wonder if dark skies+wailing winds stack with blood rain. Not that they'd need to....

Once my enemy lost 55 commanders and ~400 troops to dark skies + wailing winds. His entire army routed to nowhere after 1 turn of battle. Well, it wasn't real battle, they didn't get any chance to fight.
