Playing with some more Russian Partisans, one of the support weapons is a "Ampulomet 1941", which is some variety of ranged napalm weapon. What I'm curious about is, what exactly was it? Some type of short range rocket launcher, a flame mortar, what???
The closest thing I can find references to is the British Northover projecter, which had a similar range and role, and could concievably launch Molotovs.

To my knowledge thats pretty much it a molotov or more likely Napalm derivative chucker, like a 60m mortar but fires hollow glass balls containing something volatile. Considering Russias knack for flame weapons probably chemicals that ignite on contact with air or upon mixing. I would not like to be anywhere near it when it fires unless ammo quality control was damn good. Probably a stopgap measure while Russia rebuilt its industry using glass manufactures for ammo. They lost their best glass works in the initial push which is partly why Russian fire control is no good, poor optics.

A 125mm tube on 4 legs that threw a petrol filled glass sphere - so much like a Northover/Blackard bombard.
