Where do you even get H4 priests, normally?

A few National Heroes (Bogarus, Ermor, Atlantis,...), some Angel-summons.
Hm, CTis also has a Holy 5 National hero: The First King

Usually Commanders and Priests who have less than 3 in Holy branch gets directly to 3 Holy when prophetizing.
Holy 3 and Holy 4 priests get +1 to their Holy powers when Prophetizing :)

Hmm, if you prophetize the First King, you get a Holy 6 priest.
Exactly just HOW powerful would he be with his spells?

Holy 6 have a +3 penetration bonus and IIRC AoE 11 Banishment.
H5 has minimal advantages over H4 unless one gives the H5 a Crystal Shield (both have +2 penetration against non-priests). So early game I'd rather have two H4s than a H3 and a H5.

Mainly, he'd be really, really good at banishing. As good as a communion master in a 32-slave communion.
