File Corrupt Error

A buddy and I have been playing Dom3 for a while now. Recently, when we start a game, around turn 5 or so i get a file from him that is corrupt. After that, all the files are corrupt and we have to abandon game. The games are all vanilla - no mods. We exchange turns via IM. We are both running v3.23b

Any thoughts as to what may be the problem?

i assume you tried uninstall/reinstall?

Hmm, have you tried to use smaller maps or play 10 turns without anyone doing anything (and no ais in it) to see if it is somehow connected to the size of the 2h file?
