these active defense systems seems tied to a vehicles EW score, does the score affect the performance of the system?

which is more effective?

in regards to Israel, why to IDF tanks have VIRSS installed when I believe they use Rafael Trophy system which is more akin to CIWS?

since the US army is working on its own active defence for M1A2, should they not also have CIWS installed at some future date??

On future weapon systems there are various threads the upshot of which is basically they now get added when implemented or at least approved as stuff keeps getting added & then deleted because it never happened.

For vehicles a EW rating of 1-4 indicates CIWS or VIRSS. It does NOT indicate any actual use of "EW" it's just a catigory that is unused in vehicles and now serves a double purpose in the game
