Ok, I'm considering using Boot's of the Plane's on my pretender in a game but I really dont want to see him get Lost in Time and Space.

Does anyone know if Call God can be used to bring him back if he does get Lost in Time and Space? If that is the case then it would help alleviate the risk of using the boot's, but my pretender is too valuable to risk loosing to something like that otherwise.

No, the God has to die for Call God to work.

Otherwise, it's a cheap and easy way to get out of Inferno and Cocytos as well.

the chance to become lost in time and space due to the boots is quite small. I've yet to have it happen to me.

Ive had it happen to me in Single player before, and if memory serves correctly it took a pretty good bit of time before I got the commander back.

It just seems to me that call god should work in that situation. I know its really just for bringing back dead gods but the whole point of it would seem to be to call the god back from wherever he may be. I mean. If your dog or kid gets lost you go outside and call it right? hehe. Same thing should apply here I'd think.

It's 1% chance afaik. So it will happen when you put it on some important guy that you just want to move from place A to B :P

I think it used to be a quite small chance.

I've stopped building them because it happened 5 games in a row to me.

On the bright side, if you're attacked whilst lost in time and space, the battlefields are very pretty.

I never saw a battle while being lost in time and space, did like the battlefields in inferno doe.
And I'm yet to see a thug/sc that gets killed down there. Some inferno! Huh!

I don't like the fact that the boots horror mark and a lot!
The description lies, a slight chance of horror mark!? The hell it is!

There was also a bug where I was getting attacked every turn by *two* horrors - one of them almost invisible - aka I didn't see it for like 10 combats.

And returning didn't work either - or I wouldn't cast it despite having tons of pearls, being rlyeh.
