How does one download the patches?

I recently got the game, I have decided to install the patch, but I could not figure out how, I have a computer that runs on Windows XP

If you haven't already, download the 3.23b patch for windows.
link: http://download.shrapnelgames.com/downloads/dompatch323b.exe

Save it to your PC. When the download is complete, run the "dompatch323b" executable. Setup will update the game. To confirm that the update was successful, start Dom3 and look in the lower left corner of the screen. You should see "version 3.23b".
