If my mage uses one of the teleport spells to teleport to a territory in which my fort is under seige, will the mage teleport directly into the castle, or will he teleport to break the siege, or do I have some choice in the matter? Does it matter whether my other troops inside the castle break the siege?

Since the teleport spell happens first, if I teleport to a territory where my enemy has an army, will I fight that army before he moves away (assuming he orders his army to move)?

You will teleport into the sieged castle.

You will fight the army before it moves away (magic movement happens before normal movement).

Confirmation, Lingchih is correct.

Thanks a bunch, that's what I thought. Kind of annoying that you can't teleport in to break a siege.

You can cast some Ghost Riders or Send (Lesser) Horror on the province, if that helps.

At the same time, it would suck even more if teleporting in a unit forced them to fight during the magic phase. Reason is, if that force wasn't enough to repel the enemy it would likely be lost forever, especially if the enemy controls the surrounding provinces.
