A website that runs tests of various firearms under various conditions and target types . The test results of handguns, rifles and shotguns on various building materials is interesting as they fire standard military calibers

In the "Non-standard" category is the Shiloh Sharps .45-70, Long Range Express which brings new meaning to the phrase " no place to hide..."

He did some tests against big hardened locks, which are similar in thickness and metallurgy to old-tech APC armor.

Don

I was a bit confused with the shotgun shots. One one experiment with the bulletproof glass, it had no problem with it.
On the other with the water, it didn't exactly do very well.
Why?

Well, a high velocity round hitting the water will break up, but shotguns don't fire a solid single round, so, the water may have absorbed the round energy, i ain't a ballistics expert, so my info can be wrong
