View Full Version : Low-Grade Unrest Question

I've got a game situation where I have many provinces suffering from very mild unrest (1-5 points, generally). These are all territories well behind the front lines, and all well within positive dominion. Taxes are set automatically. There have been no reports of spies or other obvious unrest causing events.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I'm EA Pangaea, but have no Revelers in those vicinities - are there other units that are both stealthy and cause passive unrest? Can a Global be causing it (Illwinter is up, and temperatures are down, but like I said, this is all in positive dominion - no visits from frost giants!)? Any other ideas?

Thanks!

I'd guess that's Illwinter. I don't think it's limited to the caster's dominion. I've got a bunch of low unrest provinces as well.
And one suspiciously high one. I would not be pleased to find Revelers or Sneaks there.

...here's my two cents. Could certainly be from other sources but may be the result of a magic site "tipoff" effect. From vfb's awesome site tipoffs guide...

Frozen Lama, thanks for the confirmation on Illwinter. There's another interesting little tidbit to learn about Dominions.

I'd guess that's Illwinter. I don't think it's limited to the caster's dominion. I've got a bunch of low unrest provinces as well.

I guess that settles the issue for us, thejeff (as well as anyone else in Mists). As far as your high unrest province goes though, don't blame that one on me  Of course, you can patrol and see if I'm jerking you around, or see if someone else is pulling your chain
