I am looking for a few good subs for some fun games. As an experienced Dom, please only apply if you think that you got what it takes and can meet all the demands such games involve, with a few accounts of previous sub experiences and a photo of yourself.

Oh U! :D
To make it even cheesier, what would a Dom (http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/msgundam/ms-09.jpg) do with a sub (http://www.naval-technology.com/projects/astute/images/8-ssn-astute-submarine.jpg)?!

You aren't my type lch. But if you are interested in role reversal you can sub for me.

It's just like they told me, subs are hard to find on these forums.
P.S. @ Sensori: "Long, hard, and full of seamen"?

We're all so jaded. No one these days want's to take over someone else's build, unless it is really good.

Well, you did specify that applicants need to be highly skilled. That cuts out noobs, intermediates and humble vets. All the rest already have the kind of gameload you need to maintain to have that kind of skill and ego ;)

Ling, I think what you are really trying to say is, "No-one these days wants to submit to someone else's designs. Unless they are really good at dom."
Aren't you?

I'm just not happy taking someone else's save, let alone their load.

Care to give some details? Permanent/Temporary sub? For how long? Which nations, era, settings, turn number, standing, house rules?

It takes a brave man to play it that straight.

Is this for a RAND game? I'd be happy to host so I could watch.

Well, I meant no offense. I'm sure lch's builds are as good or better than most. It's just a pain to take over someone else's nation.
Now, if there were a payout. Such as, I take over this nation for you, and you sub for me when I go on vacation in another game, then that might be more interesting.

Well, really, a little pain can be part of the fun of being a sub, isn't that right? Or so I've heard. I haven't been a sub for a long time ... but then I might be getting tired of the whole dom thing.
I'm not sure it's legal to accept payouts for being a sub. Well, sure in Japan it's fair game, but I doubt it'll fly in the US.

I'm guessing the problem with subbing for lch is he generally has a pretty small position. Not very exciting - I'd consider subbing if he had something larger to work with.

It's not the size of the position, but the preparation and duration, my friend.
I'm surprised more people aren't worried about protection. In a game like this there really needs to be a clear password or things could turn bad.

As I understand it's the fury of the onslaught. Rather than the size of the army.
However, personally I prefer to use my large army.

Trust me, DonCorazon, once you take a look at the position, from my perspective, you'd be begging me to continue playing the game.
So, are subs hard to be found on here? It seems like it's just all talk, LDiCesare being a notable exception.

That's not fair!
Lingchih was saying he'd be willing to be a sub for some "compensation".

I think lch is looking for people who would see taking the sub position as receiving a gift rather than doing a favour which would need to be reciprocated. That's why ling isn't really suitable.
