Problem with Dominions: Priests, Prophets & Pretenders

Hi, some days ago i patched my old version of Dominions: Priests, Prophets & Pretenders (Dominions 1) with the last patch (1.15) that i downloaded from the developers homepage (Illwinter), but after that i applied the patch the game don't accepts my registration code anymore, why ?
I allready wrote to the developers support e-mail but still no answer, someone can help me ? If i patch the game do i have to insert my serial in an different order ?
Thanks to anyone that can give me any suggestion on how to solve this problem.

I would have to dig for this info but I THINK that PPP keeps the serial in a text file called key. You might look for that, and if its not there maybe create it with your serial in it

It don't works :( ,there is a file called key, i opened it and my serial is in it, i think that after that i applied the patch the key file is ignored, anyway thanks for the suggestion.

Copy the key file to some other directory, then delete it from the Dominions - PPP directory and start the patched game. It will ask you to enter the key again and after that things should work. Unless it's a leaked/pirated key that has been blacklisted in that patch.
