VAB genie is an engineer vehicle. Note lack of any carrying capacity (it is not an APC). 104 anti-HEAT frontal armour from a dozer blade presumably. Wrong class though - should be engineer tank type.

Ah, I didn't think of that because of the mineclear tank present.
Thank you.

For information, I have never seen an operational VAB Genie with a dozer blade mounted.
In the version used by the French army, the only difference with the regular infantry variant is that it is rigged to carry a set of engineering equipement (http://servir-et-defendre.com/viewtopic.php?f=122&t=1851#p11652) (towing cables and counterweights, anchoring poles and spades, the works).

In most pictures (e.g. here (http://www.armyrecognition.com/europe/France/vehicules_a_roues/VAB/VAB_genie/VAB_genie_France_diaporama.htm)) you won't even find attachments for a blade on the front hull.
The only VAB with a blade regularly attached in front is the VBMO internal security version (http://www.armyrecognition.com/renault_vab_v_hicules_blind_s_roues_fran_ais/vbmo_renault_description_pictures_picture_photo_im age_french_wheeled_anti-riot_armoured_armored_vehi.html) (sorry, no english version), which isn't used by the Army.

The only non-Gendarmerie version I have found with a blade is the Air Force airbase security VIB with 20mm (http://www.s164039981.onlinehome.fr/photos/jpo/14_07_17.JPG), apparently used to clean up airstrips after attacks. There is now unit #574 in OOB 06 classified as gun APC.

To get to the point, I'm not sure the VAB Genie with blade is too realistic as engineering tank, and too relevant to the game as an APC.

obviously a different dozer bladeYes, I had seen that picture, though I have no idea what it depicts exactly.
From the color of the VAB and the surroundings it could be a French UNPROFOR vehicle in Bosnia, or something completely different just as well.
My point was that the actual VAB Génie carries no blade as a rule. No one can rule out that some would be fitted for use as armored dozers in exceptional circumstances, but there is no such variant in everyday service in the French army.
