Another prophet bug

In a current MP game at late winter of the first year Machaka receives a message that their prophets remnants have left this world and a new one may be assigned. The funny thing is that the original prophet is still alive and never died. Moreover, he can, like any other unit, be given "become prophet" order and (probably) become H4

is that really a bug you want to get rid of? sounds like a nice 'feature' to me ;)

It's a bug because behavior is not what it should be and also because there're plenty of other prophet bugs (like being unable to assign a new prophet if your prophet died from disease late winter etc). I'm not sure if they've been fixed or not. If this issue occasionally helps to find out what's going on with prophet\late winter, I'll be glad. Although, frankly speaking, I seriously doubt it :)

The late winter prophet bug has been squashed, just like the immortals dying from disease in late winter. That was three patches ago, I think.

This hapened to me in a recent MP game as well, just put it down to, 'the usual dom3 quirks' and got on with it. I was surprised as it was a new bug which I had never seen before. I don't keep my save games / previous turns so can't send it to Illwinter.
