For the changes in each version read the Game Guide -> Release History link, once you have finished applying all patches.

To rephrase, I would like detailed instructions on how to download patches into the game, sorry

Be sure to download and install in order. They are largely self- installing so you shouldn't have to do anything beyond directing the patch to the correct directory. If the game is in a default directory, you shouldn't have to do anything but run the patch.

The patches for winSPWW2 are found HERE (http://www.shrapnelgames.com/Camo_Workshop/WW2/WW2_page.html)

Install first to latest, DO NOT skip a patch.

Each patch is self extracting. If you have your game installed in the default directory you will not have to do anything beyond starting the patch. IF you have moved your game to another directory you will need to direct each patch manually to the new location when it prompts you to
