Digital Download version of Dom 3 questions

Hi,

do anyone of you guys know if there's some kind of DRM or online activation within the digital download version of Dominions 3? I'm asking because this is the final answer that will allow me to decide between the boxed version and the digital download one... I'll purchase one of the two tomorrow morning :)

I'd like my digital download to be able to be backed-up on my external HDs and be assured that I will be able to play Dom 3 in - for example - 10 years. Is this possible?

i'm... not sure what you are asking. yes you can put the game on a external HD like any other game.

that... i do not know. it probably puts a CD key into the game when you DL it, which means dropping the whole Dom3 folder into a HD would take that with you. afaik, you should be able to store the game on a HD, get a new computer, pop it in 10 years later, and be all good. in any case, i'm sure shrapnel keeps a record of your purchase and could allow you to redownload the game if need be.
