Soviet AGS-17, AG-30, and etc. In a reality have 29 grenade.

"AGS-17 is fed from special belt drums that hold 29 linked rounds. "

http://world.guns.ru/grenade/gl20-e.htm

American Mk.19- " Ammunition is usually supplied in belt boxes with capacity of 32 or 48 rounds. Loaded 32-round box weights about 19 kg (42 lbs)"

http://world.guns.ru/grenade/gl19-e.htm

Now 20 grenade in SPMBT is very little on one battle (4-5 turn fire). In my opinion, it is necessary to make a duplicate set ammo (2x29=58, 2x32=64).

And still, crew Auto GL - 2 soldier, instead of 3 as in SPMBT.

1 "shot" from AGL isn't 1 grenade (I seriously doubt one 30mm grenade would have the same "boom" as an 81mm mortar round ;)), same way as with autocannons.
And ccrew of 3 serves to give the mobility and atleast some ammo. How many of the 29-round drums is a gunner able to carry along with the AGL? How many the assistant with tripod? Same way why MMGs have a crew of 3.
Besides most TO+E I've seen rate AGL squad (Russian) with 7 people: Squad leader and two AGL teams, each with 1 AGL and gunner, asst. gunner and ammo bearer.
Of course if you have better info (after all you do not have the language barrier) I'm all ears :)

Based on the HE kill ratings, I would presume that 1 ammo unit for AGL represents a burst of approximately 5 grenades.

It's a "burst" like a MG not a single round. The complaint is not valid. If anything, we give too much ammo and it's not going to change
