Death bless and ritual killing spells

Hi there,

A blessed mage (prophet or shroud of the battle saint) with D4 or more casts a ritual killing spell, such as Seeking Arrow or mass killing spells.
Do the victims incur the increased % of affliction risk?

Calahan's tests of seeking arrow (link (http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?t=42946)) indicate there's no affliction bonus from a death bless. The thread also contains a discussion of other ritual and battle magic.

I might be wrong then, sorry :(
I've never tested it myself but was told it works with flames from the sky and fires from afar.
