Hi everyone,

I used to play Steel Panthers back in the 90s, and loved it straight from the box. Great game, lots of depth, massive re-playability.

TIme moves on, I got out of gaming for a while. My friend that I used to play PBEM games with told me about the modern version MBT and the early SPWW2 versions, but I never got into these.

About a month ago I had a few days by myself while my wife travelled interstate, and I thought it was a perfect time to reacquaint myself with Steel Panthers. So I downloaded the latest WinSPWW2 versions, and I am officially hooked.

It's beautiful. Compared to the original the Camo Workshop version is so much more detailed, so much more realistic and impressive.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the work that has gone into this.

Now if only I could develop a strategy for that damn barbed wire that's in the game now...

Sections of engineers can clear the barbed wire. O bulldozers

Welcome back to the fold.

There are still a couple of places you can find PBEM opponents: on here, The Blitz, or on the World at War site. Get stuck in!

I would like to add my thanks as well. I've owned the CD version of WinSP MBT for a few years now, but in the last month went ahead and purchased the WW2 download. And it's great. Not sure why I didn't pick it up back when I picked up MBT from your store, but alls well in the end.

Thanks for all the hard work. Great bunch of games!:)
