Patch problems on MAC

I was hoping for some help and I am sure my problems stem from my lack of computer knowledge but I am having trouble getting the 3.26 patch to work on my MAC. I have downloaded the patch, and gotten it to say that the patch has worked, but my version still says 3.23b and I am not able to play with my friend who was able to correctly patch his Windows version. Again I am fairly sure I'm just not doing some small thing correctly but if someone could walk me through the MAC patching process I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Perhaps you should bring this up with the Shrapnel support service.

The many places that the game says "version x.xx" can easily be missed.

If you do a dom -v what does it say?

If you start dom3 with the --nonationinfo switch does it crash? (which the previous version did)

We just confirmed that the 3.26 version number shows correctly on a patched Mac version. If the patching process goes wrong, it may not update the version correctly.
