Hey, I just got a new laptop. When I went to install, my code was illegible. I'm not sure where tech support is to contact them about getting a new code?

I think talking about pirating is a bannable offence. So that might not have been the smartest move ever brxbrx

Sum1lost, I think you should put up a support ticket with shrapnel. Perhaps if they can confirm your purchase they can look up your key.

I bought the game something like 5 years ago- certainly before the forum move- I'm just not sure where to go to put up the support ticket or whatever.

if you have an install on another computer, you can just copypaste the key file to your new one

I do not. I got the new laptop because the old one was no longer functional.

well, if your hard drive still works (idk about laptop, but for desktop should be easy) you could hook it up and transfer,

or if your hard drive is bust, you can use a file recovery program.

recuva is a free one, google that.
someone tech savvier like gandalf could help you more

otherwise,
support for shrapnel games is here (https://www.gamersfront.com/store/user_login.php?return_page=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gamer sfront.com%2Fstore%2Fsupport.php&type_error=1)

Hey, good to see you again sum1lost. So have you been computerless for all this time?

The customer support link (https://www.gamersfront.com/store/support.php) at the upper left corner of the page. Shrapnel can provide you with a new copy of the manual for a modest sum, meaning you won't need to buy the entire game anew.

No- I got the new computer almost immediately after the previous one broke, but decided not to install any serious time-eating games on it until I was sure of a job or graduate program.
