This may be in the manual but I did not see it. If I move a sniper or other units from a clear area into a wooded one are they actually more hidden, less likely to be a casualty? Thanks

Woods give cover from sight and from fire compared to clear terrain.

Moving whilst under fire, maybe not such a good idea (moving infantry is always more vulnerable than stationary).
