Just noticed this morning, I can try and hunt down a unit number once I get home from work.
The LeIG 18 is given a range of 5600 meters, which seems kind of high.
The only book I have on hand currently is Ian Hogg's "Twentieth century artillery" which gives the maximum range as 3375 meters.
Are there other sources for this giving the longer range or is this an error?
Cheers!

Most sources i've seen show it to have between 3500m and 4600m range, so, yes, it seems kind of high, i'll look for a few books that are stored in the attic to see if any of them has info on it...

That guns had that range in the game for quite awhile. Hogg gives the range using Charge 5 with normal HE as 3690 Yards maximum ( 74 hexes ) Charge 5 with HEAT to a maximum of 4150 yards ( 83 Hexes ) .
I've adjusted the range to 74 Hexes in the six OOB's that use that weapon

awesome :)
Out of curiosity, is the HEAT charge lighter?
Or are there some other reason I am missing why it'd have a longer range with HEAT?

The HE shell is 6 Kg. The Hollow charge shell weighed 3 Kg and fired 164 FPS faster
