Every so often, when I'm using Moback, I get the following error:

"Access violation at address 00401EB9 in module 'MobhackWW2.exe'.
Read of address FFFFFFFF."

I can continue working, but the message pops up every time I try to save the OB I'm working on. When I close the program, the first error message is repeated, then this pops up after it -

"Access violation at address 00401EB9 in module 'MobhackWW2.exe'.
Invalid pointer operation."

Closing Mobhack and restarting it works, but now I have to save every time I hit F12 because I don't know when I'll get the error. Are there any known fixes to this problem?

Thanks,
Matt

I use MOBHack more than probably anyone and it doesn't happen to me. Try defragging your HD

OK, next question is do you have your game in the default

C:\Program Files\Shrapnel Games\The Camo Workshop\WinSPWW2

or have you moved it to

C:\Shrapnel Games\The Camo Workshop\WinSPWW2

or someplace other than C:\Program Files

??

If you have not done that we recommend you do and it never hurts to defrag you HD on a regular basis either

No, I've got it in a different folder in my C:\ directory. It's a separate copy that I'm modding. Makes it easier to access straight from C:\ than digging through Program Files\Shrapnel\Camo\whatever. I'll just bear with it, saving frequently is probably a good idea anyway.

Used to have a crash in mobhack some years ago. It seemed to happen when I used the cursor keys to scroll the lists. When I used just the mouse it did not crash.

Anyway I have not had that crash for years now. And using the cursor keys will not crash Mobhack anymore. I figured it had been fixed. But it could also be that my computer had some crappy software that affected mobhack. Or bad drivers or whatever.

Ive had bad experience with some software in the past. One freeware un-ZIP program I used crashed my MS Paint. Also some version of Nero burning rom caused one of my games to crash... Anything is possible.

Yeah, it sounds like something wrong with my computer, not the program.
