Is there any way to extend the unit limit per side for a scenario, which is now 400?
Thanks,
Matt

Guess no, otherwise there would be no limit
WHY would you add that many units anyway?

Is there a way you can break the scenario into two parts, geographically, or by battalion/regiment?

I was afraid of that, but that's probably what will have to be done. Thanks Cross.

I assume you must have the CD (using the 5 key) which can help keeping formations somewhat cohesive.
Playing huge battles they get mingled and out touch of their Company leaders, thus you will have masses out of contact, not very good on rally.

No I don't have the CD yet, but I plan on it. Doing large battles in pieces will require the cut and paste feature, so I'll need it. But I'll get away with what I can for now.

Speaking for myself n I like large battles as well as small ones dont tend to play many large scenerios though cause it takes ages to see what you have. Okay if you buy n deploy yourself as know what you have but big scenerios your guys really need to be layed out sensibly & not engaged so can see what you have & I do have the CD so use 5 feature. All one company should be layed out together not scatered & leaders should be the units furtest to the rear. Many a time I start & the first turn my leaders retreat so they are in the right place to rally. Because of this small to med scenerios are my pref as can get into quickly stick to buying & deploying myself if want a big one.

I don't know anything about a "cut and paste feature"or if it even exists.
If you don't have the CD then larger battles tend to be a mob of confused out of contact units.
The 5 key shows the formations relation, distance and contact to thier leaders.
I use it frequently, all the time actually:D

I was referring to the map editor.

Yes, the advanced map editor available to CD owners has a cut and paste feature that allows quick map building

As a tip if the map edge hexes are other than level zero & end up with unwanted reverse slopes to the grey border hexes selecting the whole map then cutting & pasting it back fixes this.
