Bunker Default Ammo?

Do bunker weapons fire HE by default, even if they're provided with AP? I'm experimenting with custom emplacements, and they only fire HE at AFVs.

And the AP values are what, precisely?

If the AP round is marginal (or useless) on a particular target at that range then the code will fire HE instead.

Also - Check the APCalc results for that weapon and see where average HE and AP/sabot pen starts to cross-over.

Forifications/Bunkers fire AP, sabot and HEAT if AP, sabot and HEAT will do a better job at that range than HE just like everything else in the game.

A quick test with a bunker using a PaK 40 would have showed that

If these are "custom emplacements" did you give the guns AP ammo and if yes, does the weapon have AP pen stats and if yes to that how much better is the penetration rating than the HE pen for that weapon and what is it firing at?
