I go to play Dominions 3 today, on a computer I've played it upon many times before, and to my surprise it asks for the CD key. I type it in and get to the main screen, only to find that I have no saved games or mods downloaded! They're all still in the folders they are supposed to be in, but for some reason they game isn't picking up on them. What is going on?
Oh, and for the record, my maps are still there.
Edit: It appears that dominions 3 decided to spontaneously create new mod and savedgames folders elsewhere in my computer. Still no idea what caused it.

If you're on windows, running it as an administrator when you normally don't, or vice versa, will have that effect.

You've got it installed in Program Files and it's not running as admin.

Windows 7?
Yes, actually.
Thanks to everyone who responded. Nothing was lost, and I actually prefer the new spot, as it's now in program files and it was not previously.

Congrats, you became a full-fledged Administrator of your machine. :)
