View Full Version : MP Nooblies - EA [9/8] players [Runing]

Laddwr
May 17th, 2011, 09:12 PM
I'm looking to start a new game for players new to multiplayer such as my self. I'd like to get 8 players together for this. I'd like everyone to be newbies, maybe one more experienced player to take a more observational role and help us out. Running on default settings without any mods to complicate things.

-EA
-Map is Cradle of Dominions
-Turns will be either every 24 or 48 hours, depending on what works for everyone
-8 players, will add bots if everyone wants them
-No mods
-Standard settings
-Victory will be decided when everyone wants to end it or some one kills off all the other players
-Diplomacy us A-OK, feel free to make friends and betray anyone you want!

Also, this is my first thread on this forum, so woo!

1 Laddwr - Neifelheim
2 Talrivian - Yomi
3 AfroSquirrel - Hinnom
4 Thanatus del Dragos - Agartha
5 LongBrodie - Fomoria
6 Thranite - Atlantis
7 Soviet_Storm - Abysia
8 MagicDinosaur765 - Mictlan

9(?) Ghill - Sauromatia

THE GAME IS FULL

How will this be played? Through llamaserver? Also, I suggest forbidding players from going AI.

I'm interested in taking on another MP game. I'm not yet sure what nation I'll play, though.

Talrivian

Well, I guess technically I can be considered a noob. I am currently playing my first game, but I would like to join in on this one as well. I recommend using llamaserver.net as it is rather easy to use.

If you will have me, I'd like to play Yomi, please.

If this is a game for getting some Dom3-experience (new players only) I would strongly recommend using the mod CBM in some form, because it seems almost universal these days and playing with is quite different from vanilla (better IMO).

Laddwr
May 17th, 2011, 11:13 PM
And yeah, planned on using llamaserver. Forgot to mention that. And I'd like to try it out with vanilla dom3 first before loading up any mods, standard as they may be. I hope I'm not alienating my self from this.

Also, how do I edit the title to a thread?

Really don't understand this argument.
Newbies migth have some SP experience in Vanilla, why should they use an Mod where they need to learn the game again?

Alright, sign me up for Hinnom. Pretty sure I qualify as I newbie, since I'm still involved in my first MP game.

Alright, added Afro and Tal to the list and changed my faction, since giants are cooler than olms.

I have yet to play a MP game, myself. Sign me up under Fomoria. :D

AfroSquirrel
May 18th, 2011, 02:11 PM
Maybe we should name this game "Giants and Midgets"...

Also, the argument for using CBM is that it's standard in most other MP games due to how good a job it does of rebalancing the nations. It doesn't require one to 'relearn' the game, but it does things like adding national summons and heroes, adding (inferior) alternatives to Tartarians, and adjusting costs. It also does some more controversial things like making Clams and (I think) a couple other items unique. I'd recommend using it since it'll likely appear in whatever games we go on to play later, though I'm fine playing either way.

PriestyMan
May 18th, 2011, 02:21 PM
Fwiw, CBM 1.7+ does some pretty drastic changes to the game. Most people agree with the changes, and play with them, but the argument can be made that starting with 1.6 may be better because it is much closer to vanilla than the later versions. with 1.6 you get all really non-controversial changes that purely improve the game.

Either way is fine.

Thanatus del Dragos

I prefer vanilla.

Also, anyone know how to change the game title?

Thranite
May 18th, 2011, 03:33 PM
If you're still looking for players, I'd like to sign up. If accepted this will be my 5th game (3 of them still running however), so I believe I still qualify as a newb.

At this point, I'm not interested in CBM, vanilla only please. If that causes trouble I can bow out with no hard feelings.

I haven't tried a water nation yet, I'd like to try Atlantis.

Thanks for your consideration.

Alright, just two slots left! Looks like we've got a big game coming with all the giants.

I still can't figure out how to change the title, I feel like a bad salesman.

This sounds like an awesome game for my first multiplayer match. I'll come in as Abysia if I still can. I've been around for a while I know, but I took a looooong dominions break, so we'll see how this goes.

Hello, I have been off of Dominions forever and only played one game (in which I had my butt thoroughly kicked).

Can I join as Sauromantia?

EDIT: Also, vanilla is awesome for me. I am used to playing with heavy mods but I am fine without any.

EDIT EDIT: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! The rest of the slots were taken before my post. So sad. Would you be willing to make it nine? Or let me know if someone decides not to play?

Laddwr
May 18th, 2011, 10:17 PM
Alright, we're full. I'll push us up to 9 players. I'm taking map ideas now. Start drawing up Pretenders boys.

Talrivian
May 18th, 2011, 10:32 PM
I vote for "Cradle of Dominions" as our map of choice! It is large enough to allow us noobies to get settled in, while not being so large so as to create a long, drawn-out, never-ending game.

Yomi power!

Laddwr
May 18th, 2011, 10:33 PM
I was thinking the same thing! I'm opening up the game on llamaserver as we speak.

You are the most wonderful host ever!

Also, I think you edit the first post of the thread and when you change the title it changes the thread title.

Laddwr
May 18th, 2011, 10:41 PM
Yeah, figured that out. Also, if anyone knows how llamaserver works and wants to show me the ropes I'd be forever greatful. All I need to know is how to add pretenders to the game and how to start the game when it comes time. That and set turn timers.

Talrivian
May 18th, 2011, 10:45 PM
It is fairly simple. Just check this link out, it should explain everything:

If after reading it, you are still confused, then I'll tell you how here in this thread.

Also, first.

I am so excited for this game.

Laddwr

Throw in more pretenders! Let's get this started!

Also, how do I set a turn time limit?

Ghill
May 18th, 2011, 11:22 PM
It is somewhere under "administrative options" once you start the game. Not sure if you can adjust it before the pretenders are in and the game begins.

Laddwr
May 18th, 2011, 11:25 PM
Thanks Ghill.

3 Nooblies have signed in so far, 6 more to go. Will this game go down in history as a triumph for newb kind? Or will this end with a downward spiral of death and humiliation. Stay tuned to find out!

Ghill
May 19th, 2011, 03:09 PM
If everyone has their pretenders in tonight we could be on turn two by tomorrow! I will be home late and up all night anyway, so I will probably be taking my turn around midnight if the game is ready to begin...

Once this game gets going I'll post my opening strategy. Secrecy shouldn't really matter until turn twenty or so.

This is more between you and Laddwr...but do you intend to find a sub for a few turns, or are you asking for a four day break? Breaks tend to be game killers, so if you could find a sub that would be much better.

If we're doing 48 hr turns, I could probably trim it down to being just a one-turn delay equivalent, but since we'll probably be doing 24 hours to start, I'll look for a sub. Is there any generally accepted format to a 'Sub request' thread, or what?

Ghill

And so it begins, another chapter in newbie history is written today. We shall go down in history as the finest newbs in all the land. They shall tell stories of our triumphs for years to come.

Let it be known: the Nooblies ride today, and we ride to victory!

Atlantis sends best wishes to all nations. The pretender god Historical Revisionism wishes everyone to know that no matter who wins, he will rewrite history so that they become the bad guy in the end.

Ane, the god of Niefelheim wishes to send his condolences to the families of the other pretenders in advance. They will be missed.

The magnificent, wonderful, and umm...avian True Pyre wishes it to be known that he too may be as boastful as any of these "pretenders" who wish to challenge them, only he doesn't need to be because he has nothing to prove to anyone ever.

Also, he (and I) had not realized that we were doing victory points. Oops. Also, our capital is located in province 137. BRING IT!!!

In a few turns through I will be looking to sell blood slaves to. I have little interest in them as I find their use distasteful; so logically I must sell them to my enemies so that they can summon hoards of demons to attack me.

Laddwr
May 20th, 2011, 11:50 PM

What happened to Atlantis? And damn, water provinces in the mainland?

Looking at the Hall of Fame, Atlantis's pretender has 4 kills, is dead, and the score graph says Atlantis hasn't gained a province.

Resulting hypothesis: Atlantis had a combat pretender, went for a Turn-1 attack on indies, and forgot to script his/her pretender to attack. As a result, the pretender spammed L0 spells, got a few lucky kills, and then died.

Ghill
May 21st, 2011, 05:36 PM
Yeah, that is why I never charge on turn 1.

To my surprise I won the bid for the Armored Fist of God, and I have some easy neighboring provinces. I don't see anyone near me yet.

Selling blood slaves for 10 gold a piece, though that won't matter for a while. I will agree to NOT sell blood slaves to people for 50 gold per embargo target.

:D Man am I smug.

EDIT: We might get a double turn today!

Saturdays are game days when I can break free. Non-computer game days, that is (miniatues, roleplaying, boardgame etc. :))

Wierd fight. I knew I was taking a chance going for the turn 1 push, but I'd tested a half-dozen games or so and it went fine each time...until now.

Ancient Kraken and the starting forces, ended up against tritons and 2 triton knights, nothing special. I must not have scripted the kraken right, because he went from the flank to behind the line of peons, and waited for them to die. Then after one round tried to run away! The tritons that had chased off the deep ones were ahead of the kraken, so he ended up surrounded and lost 110 hit points in one turn. Very bizarre, but when you roll the dice sometimes they turn up snakeyes...

Ghill
May 23rd, 2011, 12:39 AM
I am now officially nicknaming my core unit of Lancers, "the Breakers" because they have broken in every battle they have fought. I am used to heavy cav tromping my units, so I assumed they would stomp for me too, but when I checked the Lancer stats I realized that they were not going to live up to the expectations I had for them. So now I am changing my army build strategy and experimenting. Is now a good time to mention that I have never played Sauromatia before?

Also, someone manage to outbid me for the Elephant Corp. So much for mercenary control...

Still haven't lost a battle yet; but I did have to turn on "neighbors" in the map filter to figure out how the map was configured. Less obvious then on random maps.

I think your turn ran away Afro, you must be doing something to make the game not want you to play.

Those barbs are vicious man. Wiped out a bunch of my Abysian infantry...was pretty sobering after watching a group of twenty of them wipe forty wolf tribers... course daggers and pelts vs. shields and flails (and the fire within of course) is a bit of a different story than a bunch of berserkers with swords as long as ironing boards..

Ghill
May 23rd, 2011, 10:25 PM
I learned a lesson about barbarians a long time ago, "never estimate barbarians".

They have mediocre Morale and stats, but they have really good weapons and with berserk they can be deadly to even heavily armored targets. 30 berserking barbarians can kill 40 heavy infantry in a round or two, but they can be routed by a pair of vine arrows. If you rely on them they will fail, and if you don't take care they can easily kill you.

The clean solution to independent barbarians is to blast them from afar, a couple dozen archers or a few castings of fire flies will generally kill enough to ensure victory in melee and almost always cause them to break anyway.

AfroSquirrel
May 24th, 2011, 10:39 PM
Ranged weapons are nice against barbarians, but the 'roadkill' school of thought is not to be overlooked. Put some throwaway units in the front to draw the barbarians' attention, and then have your elephants (or whatever) flank-n-squish them.

A bit of advice to anyone who wants to record their turns, check you sound and video quality after each recording. Oops.

Also, if you plan to go back and record later (like AfroSquirrel) I suggest that you save your .2h files as well. I don't think most people will remember what their plans or action were on a turn, and figuring it out by comparing each turn with the next would be a pain the in the but.

Also, everyone should have a complete record of .trn and .2h files in their e-mail (unless they purge their inbox and outbox constantly).

If you're referring to Atlantis, then our apologies, but me must preserve the seas for our own use. Espcially given the early death of my pretender kraken, I'm not comfortable letting anyone else get a foothold (waterhold?) in the ocean if I can help it.

I can pledge not to go on occupied land for the foreseeable future, if that helps, and I understand if anyone is tempted by the treasure of the sea to try and claim it for their own...just know that I'll be seeing you on the field of battle if you do. :)

So, uh, Laddwr disable PM's. Watch out for a little "scuffle" in 215. I think my in game message should be pretty clear though.

AfroSquirrel, I already have 40 minutes of video...I guess that is a testament to my verbosity.

Currently (in my esteemed opinion) the three most powerful and dangerous nations are-

1) Hinnom (AfroSquirrel)
2) Mictlan (MagicDinosaur765)
3) Sauromantia (Evilkritter)

based on provinces, income, and army size.

I suggest that if you neighbor two of these nation that you make a secret alliance with one against the other, or if you neighbor one of these nations you should secret ally with one you don't and double team the sucker!

I don't just say this because all of my neighbors border on Hinnom, Though it may have been a factor :D

Soviet_Storm
May 28th, 2011, 08:52 PM
Army size literally means nothing though. Half of that could be Militia for all we know. But yeah, Hinnom is going to be a problem. Because Hinnom is always a problem, every time.

Dem cannibal giants, man.

AfroSquirrel
May 28th, 2011, 08:59 PM
Well, my first game is as Tir na n'Og, which is generally considered underpowered, so I wanted to try one of the 'upper-tier' nations. I was actually thinking of doing Sauromantia, but once I noticed a theme developing I chose Hinnom instead.

I'd really like to know where Mictlan is (or over half the players, for that matter). I've yet to find a single indie province with Scouts, and I do not like this feeling of blindness...

Neifleheim is in a bit of a bind, it looks like they neighbor two of the most powerful and aggressive nations in the world. I believe I gave some relevant advice previously. :D

Securing borders, building armies, and trying to figure out how to overcome my self induced gimping.

Sauromatia has weaker magic than I remembered, and I didn't give my pretender enough Astral to go for any of the magic strategies I am used to using. Also, master thief jacked a bunch of my gems.

I am curious, how many people are at war right now?

Niefelheim has now become the third nation on the distinguished list of "Nations who introduce themselves via invasion". Furthermore, they accompanied this attack with a warning to 'withdraw or be attacked'...

Also, I'm having the same Air gem shortage as Sauro. I can trade pretty much any other type that isn't Astral, though.

Ghill

So, last night I had an epiphany. My entire national strategy changes, and so did all of my scheming. We'll just say that I realized I have a lot of Death 1 mages, and a lot of archers. :D

Also, there is NO WAY I am going to try and outbid Hinnom for air gems. I am, however, now interested in fire gems. I have excess blood slaves, and some nature gems if anyone is willing to trade.

Unfortunately for you AfroSquirrel, hyper aggressive neighbors is the price of being one of the two most powerful nations in the world. You and Mictlan are going to get a LOT of grief, no one will want to risk you getting stronger. I suppose you could both team up to conquer the world, then go to war when only two remain...but I am sure that won't happen. ;)

Ah, I see there was some ambiguity in my message.

The Great and Unsecret Alliance (no, I didn't run the name by the others first) consists of:
-Sauromatia
-Atlantis
-Niefelheim

Attacking Atlantis or Niefelheim is the same as attacking Sauromatia, though I will be less-immediate in my retaliation due to logistical constraints (I can't reach very far).

Hinnom probably doesn't have any allies yet, as I have no enemies that border me and thus no one who can profit properly from a war with me (unless they have Call of the Winds, or Call of the Wild).

Also, trading with Hinnom will not be considered an action against us. It's just business. :D Incidentally, price gouging is in style this time of year.

The first clash went better than I feared, and far better than I expected. Unfortunately I am inexplicably out of money now. :p

I would claim that it was strategic genius, but it appears Hinnom was already otherwise engaged. I fought fresh, inexperienced troops with my some-what veteran expansionary army. Wish I had better scouting, but I spent all of my money on ------ instead...

To everyone, a friendly reminder to invest a little in PD for key provinces. Someone who was after Air Gems managed to get enough for a few "air strikes".

This thread is really quiet. Guess everyone but me is keeping information secretively.

A little PD goes a long way, especially in securing an attack route.

Also, I recommend building a temple and lab after a fort is in place. Otherwise that is 400 gold down the drain, 900 if your enemy decides to burn the lab rather than risk letting you retake it. Hypothetically, of course.

I can't help but notice that the vast majority of this thread consists of my turn-reaction posts. Apparently most people aren't into high banter games.

At this point in the game my reconnaissance is pretty bad, but I can't help but notice that there is a ton of unconquered Independent territory still. I guess explains why I was the first to declare war.

Also, if anyone wants blood slaves I will trade them for cheap. At this point I have over 30, and I am seriously considering using as melee fighters in my army. They are that useless to me right now.

P.S. Last turn didn't inspire me to post. *gasp*

I've had little time to cap indie provinces, due to the ongoing war effort, lack of gold and barbarians kicking giant ***. Still managed to grab a few provinces, but not nearly enough. I hope my conquests from Hinnom can help compensate. Also, who the hell puts a single water province in the center of the map? It's like it was divided just to taunt me.

Reminds me of a singleplayer game I started a while back as Ocenia. My starting province was at the top of the map and surrounded by land on all edges besides a single water province a few provinces down. What made it worse was that the only way to get to the sea wa through an enemy capitol. I don't know if U gave up on that one or not.

I finally bothered to read the MotD. Why am I the 'bloodthirsty giant war machine'? I'm just minding my own business, and then suddenly everyone decides that HinnomLand is their most desirable vacation spot!

I still don't understand your reasons for supporting Sauromatia, Laddwr. If I lose, Sauro will just turn its armies northward, whereas if I win, I'll be expanding westward and would have been fine with leaving you alone for the time.

Ghill
June 13th, 2011, 12:25 AM
Building armies and getting into position, waiting for the inevitable counter attacks. So, let's look at how we got into this particular conflict.

I should probably let Laddwr explain his own actions, so I will. My reasons for invading you should be fairly clear though. At the time I ran out of room to expand, and you were one of the three most powerful (and dangerous) nations in the world. You were also the only powerful nation neighboring me. Expansion is survival, stagnation is destruction, so I had to go to invade someone. Why let my rival get stronger, when I could get stronger by making them weaker? So, I decided to invade Hinnom. I had 2 other neighbors, why bother starting a multiple front war? So I sought alliances. They were both (at the time) weak, so they accepted my generous terms.

The best part of this, is that I don't have to fight them right after I beat you. If I take your mainland Sauromatia can still expand while allowing both Atlantis and Niefelheim to expand as well. The Great and Unsecret Alliance could last quite a while without hampering any of us.

VITAL EVENT: The fall of Agartha.

Good Game Thanatus del Dragos. You probably fought valiantly and stuff. I...don't think I interacted with Agartha at all during this game.

The first to be wiped out. Death by military conquest. I guess others have been at war longer, and far more quietly than me.

Talrivian, you should enable the private messages.

I can't send you a message, so I will say it here.

WHAT?
Do you know Fomoria started attacking us?
We offered peace to them, and then they started attacking us without a word.
They captured us 2 provinces and built a castle so close of our reign.

We recruited more troops (Fomoria killed a lot of our troops)and start attacking.
Now it seems Fomoria's idea of to attack us was a bad idea.

They are lost their main army in an attack they did last month, without any important los for us.

Fomoria is in danger, so they call a far far far away nation to do an alliance.
I don't believe you defend the non-sense attacking Fomoria, who started our battle, the "Goat wars".

We are not a barbarian invader, only an angry defender.

Any ideas how we should handle this? I don't want to stop this just while it gets interesting.

My idea is to call a winner right now through llamaserver and then in a month once I return get us all together again and do a "part 2" of this game. I'd reserve all of your slots for you and we'd be playing in the middle ages with the MA counterpart of our nation. Just a thought.

I hate to be a jerk, but it would make more sense for you to find a sub (or a replacement) for those months. At this point, TheNooblies is only just reaching solid mid-game. The host of the game doesn't have to do too much, so you should be able to hand over host responsibilities to someone else in the game.

This game will probably end of natural causes by the time you get back (the winner should be obvious by turn 50, even if they haven't won yet). I would definitely be in for "TheNooblies 2: Newbs rise again!", (like the Middle Era idea). But I really think the showbiz rule applies here.

Sorry man, the game must go on. :(

Talrivian
June 16th, 2011, 11:24 PM
I like the idea of Nooblies 2 with reserved slots. But I also believe that you should find a sub and hand over hosting to someone else.

I would be more than happy to handle hosting. My schedule is almost always free and flexible, as I live in Brazil and I only teach English for 4 hours a day, always at the same time.

I check this forum post constantly, and I am on my computer at least twice a day, constantly checking the game status.

On a secondary note, have you found a sub yet for yourself?

Ghill
June 19th, 2011, 02:16 AM
I think this has been the worst I have had a turn go for me...ever.

So, apparently our armies were crossing paths, and half of Hinnom's army passed mine and beat my PD to take the province I was coming from then the other half beat my army so I ended up losing my entire army because of a blown route check in a battle that I was about to win. I used my pretender to jump a low-PD province, and with two enemy units left I hit round 6, he goes of script, and he frags himself with orb lightening in melee. If I start losing this war, this turn is why. My only consolation is that none of the 50+ gems of equipment fell into enemy hands because my SC's and leaders died retreating...

If I weren't about to bust out my new mage-based army I would be screwed.

AfroSquirrel

If I weren't about to bust out my new mage-based army or one of four nations in an unholy alliance against a single nation I would be screwed.

It's like everyone is so paranoid of being stabbed in the back that they just jump on the knives preemptively. Also, I am kind of a douche. :D

Hmm... In the interest of causing chaos, who would like to know the locations of the three bonus sites that I have uncovered?

The "Message of the Day" seems a tad out of date. Could we replace it with a new one? Like "The end looms on the distant horizon as two demon driven super-powers expand outward, their borders ever encroaching on each other as their armies consume their enemies. Who will prevail? Who will survive?"

I am pretty sure Yomi and Mictlan are the most powerful nations now.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA. Really? Really? Talk about pissing all over diplomacy.

So every time anyone casts a non-blood-magic spell they get horror marked. There are two ways to take this down, kill the caster or dispel the enchantment.

I don't have the gems to dispel it, but I'll contribute what I can. If no one else can cast it, I am able to, but I'll need at least 300 astral gems before I can dispel it.

The spell was probably cast by Mictlan's pretender, so if someone gives me the province number that it is in I can kill it. If anyone wants to send me spare death gems (I'll even buy them for 10 gold a piece) I can assassinate most of his mages in a few turns. It appears someone panicked a little. :D

Yay for Manifestation? :P

I have a secret strategy that no one is prepared for and that no one can fight, so I really couldn't care less since I have no need of casting rituals anymore.

Oh, the joys of simple, yet cost-effective strategies.

Well, that was unexpected. Thank you. Yomi, your destruction of Sauromatia's army is greatly appreciated.

Also, if anyone stands to gain by having the armies of Sauro or Yomi tied down, feel free to send me your excess blood slaves!

F. M. L.

I...dang. I didn't realize it would be full blown horrors of this magnitude so quickly. This is pretty much over for me.

Also, LongBrodie guessed it in one. Guess I'll see how lucky a person can get in the end game.

Talrivian, MagicDinosaur765, are either of you planning on doing an AAR or Let's Play write up?

MagicDinosaur765

I wasn't planning in an AAR, but I have all my turn archives in the gmail.

I didn't want to hurt anybody with the spell, but a lot of Ashen angels were killing my mages, and I didn't know who was casting that spells (sure Sauromatia) so it was a good spell to defend myself without having to attack provinces.

Also, that Yomi's big demon was awesome. Retreating, but berserk, burning hordes of Sauromatia's warriors.

What's about Atlantis?
Is he sending the turns?

Yeah, this is over for me. I'm going to stick around and see how badly I can grief Mictlan and Yomi before I bail.

I'll watch the thread and post my AAR when the game is coming to a close. Really, my only complaint was that I had a lot of bad breaks with luck and only had one flip of chance go in my favor. Both of the times I staled it cost me my lead and completely destroyed my army.

SO, no spoilers, and good luck to the survivors. I am basically out.

Talrivian, what's up?

Are you having problems sending your turns?
I know Llamaserver had problems (again), but the last 2 turns delayed about 12-24 hours.

So, what's up?

Thanks.

Sorry, guys my life has been really hectic lately. I staled because of this. It is hard for me right now.

And yeah, Dai Oni are awesome.

Sauromatia just declared...AI, I guess.

Good game all. Good luck to the survivors.

Welp, there goes my one shot at breaking out of this decline. All that's left is to see how high I can pile Yomi's dead at the gates of Rocknest.

We will not go AI into the good night.
We shall rage against the dying of our light.

Because of the terrible crime Mictlan has committed by polluting the very essence of magic with the blood of countless innocents, I hereby end the Non-Aggression Pact between Fomoria and Mictlan on turn 62.

Let it be known that MagicDinosaur has initiated hostilities immediately upon the end of the NAP-5, rather than waiting the agreed upon 5 turns.

Because of the terrible crime Mictlan has committed by polluting the very essence of magic with the blood of countless innocents, I hereby end the Non-Aggression Pact between Fomoria and Mictlan on turn 62.

With this, I understood that the pact was broken.
Talrivian attacked me without wait any turn.
You are allied with Talrivian, so I supposed you would attack.

But really my troops didn't attack you.

They conquered the province without defense.
I didn't know why.

I must repeat: I started attacking because your ally broke the pact, starting the attacks.

LongBrodie

What my ally chooses to do does not affect what I choose to do. You had a non-aggression pact with me, and the terms of that pact were to wait 5 turns before initiating any hostile action after breaking that pact. That means no fighting until turn 67.

LongBrodie

On the other hand, you broke the pact long before any of this when you cast Astral Corruption, a spell that attacks every non-blood nation.

What is going on with the game?

Yomi is the only who didn't send the turn, and the "Next turn due" has delayed a lot (and this isn't the first time it occurs).

I'm really sorry, but I can't send my turns because of a travel for 1 week.
If you can wait, it will be great, but if you can't, it's okey to search a substitute.

I postponed the hosting for 100 hours. I will look for a sub in the meantime.
