If you’re interested in becoming a beta tester for the Total Eclipse game system you must meet the following requirements:
Need to have a group to play with. Can’t really solo this. The ideal Total Eclipse group is four players, but as with any RPG the gamemaster can tweak for his or her group.
This is a purely digital product and not available in dead tree form. You must be able to use PDFs. Additionally, since this is specifically formatted towards smart phones and tablet computers owning either or both of these devices is a big plus.
No set experience level. Whether you can’t tell the difference between a d12 and a d20, or you remember the days of the white box, it’s all fine. This is a very newbie friendly game system.
Beta testing duties will be to play the game and report on your results. Easy and fun enough work. Note, this will mean that you’ll have to do some of your own adventures, create characters, et cetera. Since Total Eclipse has been around for quite some time prior to official publication we do not anticipate a long beta period.
Just post here if interested in testing. Thanks!

I'm interested in being a beta tester.
I have a group I play with regularly on Fridays. We vary in size from 4-8 (pretty steady at 6 (5 players) lately). We regularly rotate what system we play so throwing Total Eclipse into the mix should be easy.
I own an iPhone 3GS and iPad (1) as well as laptop and desktop computers.
I've been gaming since 1980.

I would be interested in helping test.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab, an HTC G2 and a Samsung Moment, all running Android.

I would love to beta test.
I have a group of friends (4 to 5) and we play on the weekends. We been playing RPG's and wargames for 20 years and love to try something new.
I have a iPhone 4 and iPad 1. Not sure what phones my friends have.

Got a group that would be down with the hack and slash and they like new games, but to be honest, I want to challenge you on the solo thing. As a fan and regular user of the Mythic GM Emulator, I'd like to take a stab at running TE solo in conjunction with the GME. From a play test perspective, solo play is heavily self documenting and it can be run at any time without having to meet up with the group.
Thoughts?

Never heard of the Mythic GM Emulator but having now read up on it it does sound intriguing.
Yeah, it probably won't be a problem. Groups are of course the preferred course of action, but one or two people just checking it out can also work. We just can't have everyone be a lone gamer. :)

I'd be pretty interested in joining as well.
I'm a casual roleplayer, played Midgard, Gurps & DSA (for more than 10 years by now)
Only part of our gaming group speaks English, but I should be able to translate ;)
I have an iphone 3GS and thinking about an ipad3 once it's available.
Best Regards,
S.

Just curious, what is the dominant language of your group? I ask because Disrupted Gears has discussed future translations and I'm sure getting an idea of where the most gamers are coming from would be helpful in deciding which languages go first.

Total Eclipse has the potential for a quick translation into Portuguese.

German... Actually there are a lot of P&P roleplayers in Germany - We got "Midgard" and "Das schwarze Auge" (maybe you know "Drakensang")...

I am very interested in assisting in the beta test. I have developed several games over the years and enjoy digging through new systems. I have an iPad1 and several iPhones (and the expected army of laptops & PC's). Thanks.

German is one of my wish list languages for the game. I have some school-boy German but I am far from fluent (especially when trying to translate game terms).

I'm interested in Beta Testing. I've got a regular campaign of 5, a weekly one-shot group of 6-10, and way too many years of gaming experience.
For reading PDF's, I use my Linux Netbook.

I am ready with the individualized self destructing documents, stored safely in my radiation proof ice house here at Blue Tower Castle, I am just waiting for the NDAs to finish flying back and forth, and to get the a-ok from the bosses.

Hi Guys:
I have emailed each of you that signed an NDA, but have not heard back from most. Please check your emails. We want to start testing next week.
