I noticed today that under vanilla dominions, eagle kings have fire plate. That's well and good, but under any version of CBM where gold plate is added, they get both gold and fire plate. Their protection jumps to 28, and their resource cost to 45.

This did not occur under the previous patch (the fire plate would be correctly changed to gold plate), only after 3.27. Any ideas how to fix? I haven't seen this with any other unit.

Download the newest version of CBM. The modding commands have been changed. So the older versions of CBM are now bugged.

Of course you can. You just have to perform some bugfixing.
