View Full Version : How come my aircraft don't fly completely across the screen

Hello

I am playing the tutorial scenario with the US and Iraq.

My question is why doesn't my A-10 Warthogs fly right across the screen.

I have gone into Air Entry and Exit and set the A-10's to fly from right to left across the screen.

What actually happens is the A-10 appears on the right hand side of the screen and fires it's ordnance and then just disappears.

Can you let me know how I can get it to fly all the way across the screen.

Thank-you,

Scott

The A-10's are armed with AGM Mavericks witch are standoff weapons.
More than 200 range, hence off-map attack run.
If you don't want to do a stand-off attack then deactivate the AGM weapon in the data screen or "W" hot key.

Yeah, that should allow your plane to fly over the map. Of course do that only if you want your planes to not use their long range weapons during the sortie.

If they have PGM - they will perform a PGM strike until out of same. PGM strikes don't enter the battle space (but may attract LR SAM replies).

Only when out of PGM will they close in and use ballistic weaponry.
