Just out of pure curiosity: what does the "turret" armor of a fortification (bunker, casemate, etc.) actually represent ? I.e. what part of a fortification is the "hull" and the "turret" ?

Whatever you feel it should be.

Vehicles have a lower and an upper bit. Fortifications are a vehicle sub-variant with concrete armour (= lets some bullets through, riflemen shooting a bunker will cause casualties, but not rifle fire to an APC). "Tank Turret" forts are concrete too.

Cheers

Ah OK. I was just wondering, since most fortifications seems to have a higher thickness on the "turret".

I usually think of the "turret" as the top and upper parts of the structure, and the "hull", the area closer to the ground.
BTW, Since forts let some bullets through, is any of the "turret", "hull" or "top" hits more likely to let bullets pass(deal damage) than other?

no. All are concrete.
