I'm playing a scenario from the 1956 Arab/Israeli war. In the scenario I command British paras. They land with very limited ammo. There are ammo canisters that drop with them. I have to move the paras to the ammo to stock up. I moved all of the squads and mg's next to the canisters. But it appears only one unit at a time loads ammo from them. The ammo load on the other units doesn't increase, even though they're just sitting there doing nothing. My question is, what is the rule on this? Can only one unit at a time draw ammo? How much ammo does a unit load per turn? Thanks

But yes only one unit at a time can re-arm form an ammo crate.

Units reload in order from A0 to the last. More than one unit can get ammo if there is any left over resupply points after the first is fully supplied.

It also depends on the type of ammo units you are using, see game guide on unit type/class, section ammo units. IIRC ammo canisters are the smallest type of ammo units, hence it is slower to replenish ammo compared to larger ammo units like ammo trucks or ammo depots.

You may have to search some threads, but I also believe it has been laid out in detail. IIRC J1 will load before J2, or any B unit will load before C, D, E, etc., so be careful of having units parked nearby. As opposed to an ammo dump, when can reload more.
