Problem with .27 update

Hello,

I have recently started playing Dominions again, after a hiatus of more than 18 months.

I downloaded and installed the latest patch (.27), and the game works fine when I initiate a game, and goes well for as long as I keep playing the first time.

However, if quit Dominions and restart the save, the moment I scroll await in the screen, everything disappears, except the map. I cannot open the pages (F1, F2 etc) either. IN other words, the game becomes unresponsive.

I have tried altering the video settings but still, nothing happens.

I have a 1920x1080 screen, an MSI Twin Frozr GTX580, and a mildly overclocked i5. 8 GB DDR3 Ram.

Has this problem been reported before? Is there a fix for it?

That sounds a lot like the copy protection system. Are you running a legitimate copy of the game?

Yes.

I bought it years ago (I believe just after Hinnom was introduced?).

Could be an issue with my Graphics card? I have had issues with it in the past.

Try reinstalling the game from scratch (make backups of your map, mod and save folders first) and see if that solves the problem.
