List of Possible Independent Provinces?

Was just wondering if anyone has compiled a list of all possible indies. I got curious after seeing some provinces with Jotun Spearmen on them. :)

If you mean all special provinces, which have unusual defenders, there is some list floating around hat lists all the really special stuff.

But then there are some "lesser specials", as it were, that have randomly added mages among the defenders and mages may have something as bodyguards. The provinces with just one or two Jotun Axemen or Jotun Spearmen are those.

If you liked that surprise, there is a program called SemiRandom that is designed to do that on any Dom3 map before you play it. It throws in some very surprising provinces that players have designed.

Here's a related question: are the number of commanders per indy province fixed or random? I've been experimenting with using assassins to take out heavy cavalry or otherwise expensive to conquer indy provinces, and it be nice to know when all the commanders are dead without having to waste a commander turn launching a probing attack.
