uploading pretenders...

hey guys. i am trying to join my first MP. im trying to upload my pretender. the pretender is created, but WHERE IS HE?!? he i in the saved games/newlords, right? problem is, when i go to my dom3 folder, i can't find that folder. i even searched for it in there, and within my whole hard drive, and i can't find it.

i know it is there, because i have 4 saved games and one saved pretender.

im sure there is a simple answer here. but i must be(mentally) even more simple.

help me out. i'd really like to play MP some day...

savedgames/newlords should be it. Do a search for .2h files. New windows versions put save game data and the like in a different directory. Searching for the newlords dir should be enough to locate it. Search in your main drive where you installed windows.

If you have Windows Vista, it saves it in a crazy place


C:\users\"username"\app data\local\virtual store\program files(x86)\dom\saved

And you may have to set your computer to show hidden files to even see them.


A way around that is to reinstall it. But change the default directory so it doesn't save it in the program files folder. Just save it to C: or something.
