I understand Storm halves precision and halves missile fire. The former is simple, but what about the latter? What counts as missile fire?

Recruitable archers sure, but what about other units with nonspell ranged attacks? What about javelins, or commanders with the thunder bow/ethereal crossbow that don't even shoot physical projectiles? The fire breath on fire drakes is also a ranged weapon, is it blocked?

Basically does it effect all ranged weapons, or are there exceptions like the ones Dominions is full of?

As projectiles count things that are small enough that they can be blocked by a shield if they are not of the kind that ignore shields. I think they need to have a flysprite and no AOE. So the darts from iron blizzard will be halved in number but the AOE fire breath from the fire drake, not so much. I think. I have not tested this. I should always make that disclaimer.

Hmm, so you think it works on projectiles in particular? That makes sense mechanically, though it's disappointing in a game sufficiently detailed that gay men can't be seduced by women for ethereal bolts that have no problem ploughing through water to be stopped by high winds.

Yep just tested it with the Good Man, I guess that heart companion liked what the Good Man had to offer.

Yea and not only that the Good Man must be happy with what he snatches. Heart companions are equipted with a long spear after all.
