Thesis' blessing Global spell doesn't allow Mermaids'/Sirens' Blessing to be cast. This I feel makes the Global spell redundant since it only leaves the penalties incorporated (less attack/defence more enc )by the UW and no way to remove them. It does allow you to get your mages underwater cheaply I guess, but I feel that it wasn't intentional but rather a bug.
(I assume its because it makes all your units native to water and those units cannot be blessed by siren's blessing, but then again if they are native to water why the penalties?)
