View Full Version : Javelin SAMs no longer in service with Canada

As the title says ... I don't know when they were pulled from service, I'll ask around on relevant forums, but the Canadian Army of 2013 (such as I just Battled against) shouldn't have Javelin SAMs. And the AI sure loves to buy a lot of them ... my poor UAVs ...

The Galt museum say this in their description of the Javelin trainer they have on display:
The CF withdrew the Javelin missile from its inventory in 2004. No alternate missile system replaced the Javelin and its role in the Canadian Forces was abandoned. Consequently, Javelin units, such as 18AD, were reassigned to other tasks. In March 2005, the 18th AD Regiment engaged in Exercise Blazing Archer at CFB Suffield, AB for the very last time, firing 73 Javelin missiles.
