got a diseased rainbow that just died. now he is back, and i am almost to const8. thinking of getting him the chalice, but i see that "questing knights will come to get him".

does he get to have body guards if these guys attack? he is not too tough(alchemist), so im wondering how viable this move is.

No indie attack will happen. If the chalice is forged and it's clear who forged it, sending an attack their way seems sensible. Depending on the nation, said attack might involve knights.
