German Barge Carriers

This seems odd and I'm not sure if it's a bug or something but it seems that Germany won't buy barge carriers to enable their tanks to move across when they are making a river assault. I wasn't sure if anyone noticed this problem. I set up a Germany vs. France river assault (May 1940 with the computer battling itself) with Germany assaulting but noticed they had no barge carriers so their tanks just bunched up together at the river's edge and were unable to do anything while their infantry fought the whole battle across the river. Thought that was weird so I set it up a couple more times with the same results. As I said, not sure this is a bug so wanted to see if anyone else has run into this.

It is using formation 152 for barge carrier buys - but they are in formation 150.

This will be fixed for the next release and the other nations checked as well

It could be why this has never been reported (if it is a bug) is most players don't undertake such a potential disaster.

The only way a river crossing IMO, would feasabily work, is under low visabilty conditions (night) and arty/air softening before hand and lots of smoke!

To put this in perspective, I have checked back to OOB's a decade old and the German Barge Carriers were in formation 150 then as well and I would hazard a guess that they have been in Formation 150 since the very first OOB's in 1998 so this is an O L D bug/data error.

I can only guess that very, very, VERY few people have ever tried a German river assault with the Germans under AI control ( what it had been buying instead were three extra Tiger tanks........) but now that we have identified the problem it has been corrected.

However, it is somewhat surprising still that this went un-noticed and un-reported for so long.

Was thinking it might be a good idea to check the nations on MBT also for the next release just to make sure. Just an idea.
