Eating/supplies

Some of my (summons) are "need not eat => uses no supplies" + "gluttony => uses extra supplies". The flavor text is about not needing to eat and so consuming no supplies, and I get confused. Anyway, could someone please clarify?

Mostly a number of demons do this. It means they don't NEED supplies, but consume supplies if there are. This means causing other units in the same province to starve if the supplies are low, but they don't starve themselves.

Thank you: they don't need to eat, but they seem to like it anyway, for some reason!? I seem to have "Celestial Servants", large farmers!

It's for flavor mostly. For some reason in dominions asian demons are pigs -- they're compelled to eat, even though they don't need it.

I've heard that in some mythology, dragons were said to be cursed by being hungry all the time, and the more they ate, the hungrier they became.

I can't find a reference to it, just something I heard from a friend once. Perhaps asian demons have this same curse?
