I'd like to create small-scaled scenarios for the Vietnam conflict.
Does anybody know good resources (online/books etc.), which I could use as templates? It would be good if they would include maps.
I've found some stuff on the web but mainly those resources are battle reports of large scaled engagements and also without any maps.
Thanks...

Let me look around a bit, and I'll get back to you. The Battle of Ap Bac is well documented, and there should be a wealth of maps online for it, as one quick example.
Also, Dien Bien Phu as an entire battle is too large for SPMBT scale, but individual strongpoint battles would be quite manageable, and are well drawn out in "Hell In A Small Place" by Bernard Fall.

Take a look at the Osprey - Campaign series. Some of them is possible to download.

Thx for the input so far.
I've found:
The Rise and Fall of an American Army: U.S. Ground Forces in Vietnam, 1963-1973 by Shelby L. Stanton (Nov 4, 2003)
which looks quite promising...

We'll be interested to see the scenarios when they are done. Vietnam tends to be under represented for scenarios given the length of the conflict.

Try your local public library,"if it's not too small" you'll be amazed on the hard info you'll get there, like battle maps and so on.

Really? I think after 80ies cold-war-gone-hot scenarios it's the most popular setting.
