View Full Version : King Of All Cosmos 9/9 Newbie-Intermediate - WINNER MOZKITO(as Early R'lyeh)
Tiavals
September 7th, 2012, 02:27 PM
Technically anyone is free to join, but I would prefer that people who join are fairly committed to it, not disappearing suddenly, and aren't some sort of super-players that will sweep the floor with everyone else.
So, anyone from Newbie to Intermediate skill is allowed to join. No elites or veterans or whatnot.

Also, Zetawulf would like to play as well. We've been looking forever for a begginer game hehe. He would like Arco if you don't mind.

I don't mind an extra player, but it depends on the others. The map can probably sustain 1 more, but I advertised only 9, which may have been the draw to some players(fast turns and small world).
So, post on people, if you'd like 1 extra player. And if you think the map I've chosen is good, and any other things that cross your mind.
I'll make the game on llamaserver in 24 hours, so you can start uploading pretenders at that point.

Now that we're on the way, some things for the benefit of the newbies:
Machiavelli diplomacy means that no treaty is binding. If someone says that they won't attack you, yet make a sneak attack at your capital, that's just the spirit of the game. It's based on trust. If someone does cross you, you can(and probably should) post about it in the main thread to warn others, but the burden of proof is on you. If you made a secret deal and there's no proof, that's too bad for you.
A common deal is NAP-3, which means a non-aggression pact(you shouldn't take any hostile actions at the other player, including spies inciting unrest, assasins, invading territory, using bad magic at his provinces, etc) that lasts indefinitely, but can be broken 3 turns before your attack commences. So, if you give a warning that the NAP is dissolved, you must wait 3 turns before you can attack "honorably". Of course, this is just a way to show that you can be trusted in a deal. You could always attack dishonorably without prior warning, but that will probably mean people will be less inclined to make deals with you for the rest of the game.

Hi
I'm just wondering, as the new CBM 1.94 has just come out, would it be worth restarting using the new CBM considering we are only on Turn 1 anyways.
What you do guys think?
Tiavals
September 12th, 2012, 07:17 AM
Well, it affects C'tis and Abysia the most, with the Scorpion Man change.
Post your opinions. Personally I'd rather not restart, but if enough people think so, we'll do it.

Abysia 37 Research, how is this even possible? Did you take negative scales, and crazy magic on a Crone?
Tiavals
September 12th, 2012, 02:55 PM
It's pretty easy with a Great Sage. He gets 19 research to begin with. Add to that a handful of spell levels, which are cheap to him, and it's easy to get 37.
How do you get to know the exact number anyway?

Then click on "Show score tables" near the bottom of the stats. I found this out yesterday while messing around

C'tis has 25 earth gems to trade. Will trade 1:1 for any other type of gems except water.

Gentlemen,
I´ll be on a trip to the beautiful city of Dresden from Thursday to Saturday evening. Gonna have no internet access until Sunday
morning ( GMT +1).
A break for this period would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Klaus

It shouldn't be a problem. Unless someone disagrees?
When Thursday morning sets in, I'll postpone the next turn by 72 hours.

Hey, I'll be out of town until Monday, 12 pm EST. (My birthday weekend). An extension would be great :3
Tiavals
October 5th, 2012, 08:10 AM
Well, the game has been extended by quite a bit due to Klaus being away too, but I guess an extra extension won't really hurt at this point, since auto-host is on anyway.

Seems like most of the big movers have staled the last 10 turns.
Do the rest of you still want to play?

I've got 40 turns invested into this, but if you want, we can just call me the winner ^_^

I actually don't mind this if the rest agree to it.

Well, checking the score-board it seems quite evident that Mozkito is by far the most powerful in most areas. I suppose if we all banded together we might be able to do something about it, but I'm skeptical about that at best since I know that I look a lot more powerful in the stats than I actually am. :)
So, I'm for declaring Mozkito as the winner.
What about the rest of you?
Mozkito

It sucks that so many people left :/
Tiavals
November 24th, 2012, 03:22 PM
Without saying a word no less. I didn't realize they had left until a while ago.
If there are no other opinions, I will declare Mozkito as the winner. 24 hours until that happens, I I remember to do it. :)

Seems like no one said anything. I'll take that as a lack of interest in the game and declare the winner as Mozkito.
