The Pantokrator's Apprentice - EA Newbie Game (Game Started!))

It looks like there aren't any newbie games recruiting right now, so... Let's make one! This game will be:

- Early Age
- Map: Aran
- Turns will run every 48 Hours, With quickhosting.
- No Mods
- Out-Of-Game Diplomacy allowed, but deals are non-binding
- PBEM, hosted on Llamaserver

I wouldn't mind. I'll submit my pretender as soon as I've finished testing it.

You would get more people if you changed the no-mod to CBM 1.94 and perhaps upped the player experience to Newbie and intermediate. :)

Nah that would be false advertising, plus several of us just painted target marks on our backs.

yeah I would be up for it if it was CBM 1.94, it seems like nearly all games use it and it changes the game alot, so I guess people are thinking that playing without it is kind of teaching you wrong or irrelevant strategies etc.

Pangaea. mind if I ask how you're moving through my territories without fighting them\attacking non-adjacent territories? I thought that both were impossible, so there's clearly some mechanic at play that I'm completely missing. XD

I am Fomoria not Pangaea, anyways it was through the use of sailing, which one of my commanders seems to have. Lets me attack over water. that's how I skipped that one province and went straight for your capital.

Both sailing and stealth can lead to some entertaining surprises :-)

Later in the game, mechanics like teleport and cloud trapeze let you just pop up in the middle of someones territory.
