Hi. I have a question ( i don't know if it's the right section) about the purchase screen in the quick battles.

Is possible to delete individual units from a platoon? For example, i want a strike element of only one airplane, instead of two. How can i delete only one aircraft?

An old thread was not clear, for me.

Thank you

You don't delete individual elements - it is done by formation.

When I only want one aircraft, I purchase it last, when I only have enough points left to buy one, as a workaround.

You can even buy one of two different aircraft using this tactic, by buying the more expensive one first. If the planes cost 150 (300 for a pair) and 120 points, wait until you have just under 300 points left, then buy the 150 point plane, and then the 120 one.

In a campaign, when I want to remove an individual unit I buy independent marksman (that's around 11p), during the deploy I reassign the unwanted unit to the marksman's "platoon", and after the scenario's end I delete that "platoon".

Seems tedious, but ie. for WW2 German panzergrenadiers I see no other way to shrink the platoon from 4 squads to 3 (as later I'm getting only 3 haltracks for them, not 4).
